Connect recent immigrants with established Alaskans to discover outdoor trails.

What better way to mingle and learn from one another, then to take along a favorite of hikers? Trail mix.

Inspired by the The Czech Next Door Family project, which brings immigrants and Czechs together for dinners, Trail Mix Alaska works to break down barriers and build community between recent immigrants and longterm Alaskans. Our goal is to get newcomers outside to discover day hikes in Southcentral Alaska.

Trail Mix Alaska recognizes and affirms that all immigrants to Alaska are welcome. We are committed to fostering community development, cultural exchange, and mutually beneficial relationships.
